ATTN: Japanese, Canadien and Austrailian rotarists!!

I tried this once before in the Canadien forum, but all I got were replies about how much the French suck and how they wish they didn't use their crappy French metric system...

What I'm looking for is a set of metric stock gauge faces for a Series V TurboII. I'm by no means a rich man(poor college student, in fact) but I could definitely pay for original gauges, shipping and a little extra as reimbursement for anyone's time. What I'd REALLY go nuts for is a set of Infini III gauges, but I've no idea how difficult those are to get a hold of.

Anyhow, can anyone help me out? Reply or PM! Thanks guys!

Steve

There was a metric series 5 set on ebay last week, might still be there

*edit
there still is a series 3 metric cluster, but I don't see a series 5 anymore.

It was one of those people claiming "JDM"

I knew I was gonna get teased... I have no idea how it's spelled, but I think I've been had! My friend from Canada would always correct me when I spelled it Canadian.... so I finally started spelling it HER way, and now I look like an idiot... Oh the injustice of it all...

Steve

P.S. I'm never trusting a CanadiAn again! unless they're promising me some good looking gauges

P.P.S. Mark, how often do those gauges show up on Ebay?

I'll keep my eye out for a set...Have you considered contacting any of the rotary shops around Toronto (A-SPec, CP Racing, Mazdees, etc.)?

I would gladly have imperial guages over metric ones, if you ever want a set of series 4 ones let me know.. Metric , while being the official measurements of Canada, are really seldom used outside of government regulations, they are used for speed limits, fuel purchase etc etc.. However, I was caught in the in the changeover in grade 3, we were taught imperial measurements, then in grade 3 they said, forget all the fractions, its metric now, went on through the rest of school learning metric, then in trade school, they said dump all the metric, learn imperial, all the trades and the real world uses imperial, so I had to relearn all the imperial measurements, which makes reading the guages in kg/cm3 now a pain in the ***. And yes, I am Canadian, the French do suck and so does the metric system....Max

You want the stock and metric gauge faces right? Ser. V, you mean 89-91 models? I happen to have some in my house, oil press, boost, and speed. I guess other tach, H2O temp, oil press, fuel are all the same anywhere in the world as there is no gauge reading.... But you know what, on JPN gauges it only reads up to 180km, little over 100mph. If that is ok, I can get them to you very cheap as I was about to throw away.
