atmosphere pressure sensor? please help
hey guys i need ur help. i tried to check my atmosphere pressure sensor. that is the one that goes to that little black box right?? well i pulled the plug out and tested it. it is like 4.9 volts. i tested it with a ground and the red wire to the d clip in the plug. what i need to know is did i adjust the wrong thing? it has that screw right beside it u turn. well now it smells nasty. runnin rich, and its slower and not holdin same idle as before. how can i get this thing back to normal? like how do i use the voltmeter right so i dont screw anything else up. thanks

Atmospheric pressure sensor is inside the car, passengers side, up and to the right. What you describe might be the variable resistor in the engine bay, forward of the right front strut tower, oval in shape and black.
