ATF Trick Question?

ATF Trick Question?
When you put in the ATF, it eats up the carbon pieces right? or something like that. Wouldnt that damage the turbo, when you rotate the engine to spread the ATF around, then start it up? Isnt there debris coming out of the engine?
Are you supposed to take off the turbo?

ATF trick concerns
The problem I have is this, someone I have talked with recently is rebuilding a spare 89 - 13b and since he had the engine apart he decided to see what this ATF does to the internal parts. So he soaked a rotor in ATF in a bucket for 24 hours and the results where unsettling.
The carbon didn't really dissolve all that much but it got soft like putty and could be smeared of with a rag. And the Apex springs didnt get that cleaned out. But the main problem we talked about is if that soft putty is in your engine after you do an "ATF Trick" is it exiting through the exhaust or does the "feel" of better compression from that putty closing up any gaps that the seals where not catching? and what happens to this stuff when it dries and get hard and is that bad.
