I dunno how i coulda screwed this one up.

Finally got some free time to put in my intake, and post-installation the car will not start.

it turns over, runs for about a sec, and stalls.

i can't give it gas to keep it running

Did you have to unplug your AFM, and if so are you sure it is plugged in correctly? Are you certain there is no vac leaks in the tube after the AFM?

If you didn't reconnect the AFM, I'm almost certain you didn't tightrn the Hose clamp(s)...

all the lines are plugged

should i be using the old clamps on the new hose that came with the intake? it fit pretty snug, i didn't think that was the problem

and yeah, the afm is plugged in

ill go recheck everything, i didnt have a chance to troubleshoot the problem before i left tonight and i just got back. maybe because i was in a rush i missed something obvious, because i've never had an issue doing the inktake and this is like the 4th time ive done this mod (1st on an rx tho)

Definetely sounds air flow meter related. If it is not the AFM itself, it is a major intake leak. Check all the big tubes and make sure nothing small is unplugged either.

check your whole TID to if you were fiddling around to get things to fit you could have popped it off the turbo

it had come off the damn turbo. fixed it bright and early at 7am this morning before going to work

this presents an odd problem - when using the brackets that come with the inktake, the TID will not bend to fit on the turbo

anyone else had this happen to them?

Yes its not made for that setup you have to customize a braket, or just make it stay up another way. Try to bend the brakets that came with the intake.
