Ok this is what happened was comming back from a job interview in Scottsdale heading to mesa and when I got off I-10 on guadalupe a lady yelled to me that my car was smoking so I pulled over and got out and saw that it was on fire from the bottom by the headers so to make a long story short the fire dept. came (Embarasing) and put it out. It started from an oil leak is what i can only think of and it burnt all the hoses and sensers up in the upper left hand corner including the intercooler so my question is if anyone near mesa can come look at it and tell me if its worth fixing and what i should do. I just got it last year but havent done anything to it but i really like it its a 87 so i am kinda leaning towards getting it running and selling it for a 91 but if you think it still has potential I will keep it. I have a little money about $500 to put into it at this point so please get back to me on this here or at my email at greedie13@yahoo.com....Thank you

It really sounds like a pulsation damper fire!&nbsp Oil has very little chance of leaking onto the hot exhaust manifold (short of a turbo oil line failure) - see the top post in this section on Pulsation Damper fires!
