Arc tmic
I was thinking about going with the bnr stage 2 turbo. i can pick up a arc tmic in good condition for 200. i was wondering if anyone has used the arc with the bnr turbo setup. i know the stock intercooler is only good up to 12psi, what about the arc. i was going to be boosting 10psi max. just wondering if anyone has any info if the arc will work with this setup.

well a tmic is still a good design....when the car is moving......but see i think all he wants is to be able to run more air through a top mount, and i bet the arc would do it......

And no , the stock intercooler doesn't work fine when you are driving.
Now it works fine stock. Other than that its a goner.
I was watching the intake temps on my TMIC as I was flooring it thru 100mph. The temps rose and didn't drop.
Doing the same thing on a FMIC the temps drop as you go faster.
But for what your trying to do....who knows the ARC tmic might work better than stock. Since it is bigger and it will shed heat better than the stoker.

I'm pretty sure none of the people who claim they can make a TMIC work as well as a FMIC do not have intake temp gauges. If they did they'd realise the money spent on improving the TMIC (effective water injection ain't cheap) could be far better spent...

These conditions are far more common, and send intake temps soaring.
