Apexi ws2 exhaust/mufflers?
Anyone have experience with these? Plans are to get a dual exhaust custom setup done using the ws2 mufflers on my na s4. Keeping stock cats (they are not clogged and still run great smog numbers).
Goal: going for a quality, different look, while maintaining a mellow tone, not over the top like other n1 style cans ive ran before.
I love the sound of racing beats exhausts, just dont like the look of the mufflers.
I searched youtube for sound bits, all I could find was a guy with an fc with less than mediocre sound testing. No use looking at all the honda sounds, as they dont apply.
Any input would be great

This is the exact same setup I want. Your talking about the "left/right - right/left" inlet/outlet part numbers they make, right?
Ive searched and searched, no one has the setup, its custom work... and its like $300 a muffler, plus another 600+ in piping and fab. I say do it if you have the money. I'm just waiting to save up at some point.

600+ in fab/piping? A bit extreme, but I guess im lucky. I got a bud who owns a muffler shop who will fab me up a bolt on y pipe for $200. Yea those mufflers are pricey, but us 7 owners pay for what we want on our cars I guess .....i guess im gonna have to be a guinea pig on this one....ill have some pix n progress up prob by mid next month....till then, im still looking for sound bits and input tho!

fab cost money. I too have fab friends, but material COST money. easily can total $600. Let us know if you get some mexican crimple bent stuff....
(In my experience the quick **** they pump out of "muffler shops" is completely different then calling up one of the performance fab shops I know, and getting real work routed/cut/welded/clearanced/etc/etc/etc)
Just go for it, Im pretty sure you will enjoy the outcome. I say throw a couple feet of resonator in the middle and call it good.

Oh no doubt. Mandrel bent, polished pipes, exact cutting, tig welding....definitely will run up the pricing....im not gonna spend that kinda cash on my exhaust atm, although it would be nice. for me, some nice quality mufflers, and a decent y pipe setup is all I want. My bud does excellent work, and he has opted for mandrel bending fora bit more, but in my case I dont think I need the extra touch unless I was gonna sell later down the road.
