Apex'i N1 or RP50

Hi.

I've done searches on this, but I can't seem to find anyone who has any experience with the RP50 cat back exhaust from www.rx7.com.

I have a Mindtrain header and a Mindtrain racing midpipe (the one with split pipes and 4 presilencers).

I am now in the process of getting a cat back system, and I've decided to either go with the Apex'i N1 or the RP50. I like the way that the RP50 looks, but I thin that the N1 is a better choice performance wise.

Does anybody have any experience with the RP50?? Is it a good exhaust?? Is the N1 much better???

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

i have the RP 50mm catback on my T2.....not by choice...but it came that way from the previous owner. i guess its ok. it sounds good. but i like the N1 on my n/a much better. looks more aggressive and sounds meaner. plus its lighter and you don't have to worry about balancing the mufflers appearance wise on the RP. buuuuuut, if you have an n/a you might lose a little low end torque with the N1...since the piping is HUGE but i'd still choose it over the RP....good luck

i have the RP50 on my car. it is a pretty nice exhaust, but i want something with larger piping since i have a turbo. the exhaust came on my car also, so no choice but to leave it on until i get some kinda money to get a new catback. but it is pretty nice, looks somewhat stockish, so u won't draw too much attention. under low throttle, it has a decent tone. on wide open throttle, it gets quite noisy. its a good choice for the money u will spend on it

I got the N1 sounds much more agressive than the RP50.

And dont let a buddy cut anything off it. I was missing the rear most hanging mount. the one up high nest to the gas tanks. And to help he hack sawed it off (I could have killed him). But I was inside conversing with mother nature so......
