Apexi N1 Exhaust Sound?

I've seen many people describing the sound of the N1 dual catback, but no mp3s, wavs, or videos letting me actually hear it.. I want to buy it but don't want it to be like.. unbearably loud.

Also if anyone has a sound clip of the RP catback too.. looking at that one as well.

I love my Apexi N1 dual exhaust, and when I get done with my T2 conversion I will do my best to get a sound clip made. To me, it's not unbearably loud, it's just right

I have a sound clip but it isn't really good let me see if I can find it......if my car was running (I broke the AFM) I would get you a better one.

Aight just drag the mouse over my car and you will hear it. This was done inside my garage and I had the hood open.....like I said I will try to get a better one as soon as my car is back (hopefully tomorrow)

Well I just put the Bonez TurboFlow system on my car.. and I want something, well, loud. But I don't want to have to shout to the person sitting next to me either. Thanks for that sound clip btw.. get some more when you fix the AFM

The only time that my system is loud is when I want it to be.....it idle's low but can be loud if I want it to. Anything about 3k is a little loud but I like it. So it doesn't bother me.

Yeah like what RX-7 raven said its loud if u wanted it to be. If ur crusing at 60 MPH u wont be able to hear ur passenger, but that with a straight pipe though. So i think with ur Bonez TurboFlow it will be a little bit quiter.

I heard them on video from my friend James(Wankel7)

It was a vid of him autocrossing. They IMO are way too loud. If he had a mid pipe it would be crazy loud. I just don't understand how people can deal with that much volume. Compared to my True Duals they are a lot louder. Contrary to popular belief on this forum. Good thing we have good vids of a True Dual exhaust to shut everyone up about it.

i just got my car running today.....all i have on it as far as exhaust so far is the RB 3' downpipe/presilencer, i have to go get corksport catback modified to work with the 3' RB stuff tho, but it should be done tommrow, rignt now, the sound is soooo deep, it hits in your chest like a couple of 10's behind the seats. and this is just at idle, i havent revved the car past 2k yet. gotta break it in...

i used to love loud, but gettin on the highway trying to talk to my friend but cant cause the exhaust was too loud, kinda makes me want to get a nice quiet one even if i will lose some HP. i was thinkin about the racing beat one. any other exhaust that are pretty free flowing (for an agressive street port turbo) and quiet??

Man that little sound bit of the dual n1s sounds nice... you spent most of the sound clip on the 3k warm up though...

i installed a custom APEXi N1 dual cat-back a few weeks ago and its loud.. I have had 6 exahaust setups on my car and this is by far the loudest.. great and deep below 3000-3300 then they its gets raspy and really intense.. i wasnt expecting it to be this loud from going from a single to duals.. My system includes header to straight pipe to these things i will try and get a sound clip soon! but no idea where to get it hosted..

even if the N1's are loud, which setup is best for NA, from headers to mufflerS?

cloead- True Duals are for N/a's not TII's. unless you get them custom made to fit on the down pipe or something.
