this might sound ghetto but it worked for me. i have a 87 t2 with a gutted precat and a highflow second cat and 2.5 inch all the way back to a piece that splits into two 2.5 inch pipes. and for mufflers i bought two n1 style off ebay and put them on. when i heard it i couldnt believe how damn good it sounded. its soooo deep and it rumbles when its idling. its loud but not too loud and for the price its really good.

my advise is to stay away from the N1 if you have a NA engine. i've had my N1 duals for about 2 years and i have talked to alot of people and i'm convinced that there is to much flow which has caused a loss in horsepower. although the distributor i bought it from said that it is for both NA and Turbo. i'm going to be removing mine and replacing it with a full Racing beat exhaust. but i also want to say that i love the sound of the N1, it's very loud but it sounds good unlike those hondas you see with coffee cans on them!
