Apexi ECV Questions

I just put RB headers and the Bonez cat on my FC (coupled with an Apexi N1 Evo catback) and it sounds good, but it's loud. Since I do a fair bit of driving through small neighborhoods (girlfriend and other friends houses) as well as long trips (four hours up to school), I don't want to being waking the neighbors at 2am or going deaf after the first hour.

So I'm looking into ordering a the exhaust control valve from Apexi for my Rx7 and had a couple of questions. First where should it be put? I was thinking of putting it in between the cat and catback...

Second is which size to get. I was looking at the 61mm or the 67mm. My exhaust is 2.5", which is about 65mm. I read on a different forum (Honda or something) that a guy ran the 67mm with a 2.5" exhaust, and I was wondering if that was the same for an FC.

Any input is helpful. Here's a link to the product: http://www.apexi-usa.com/products/?id=5326

well, it seems that the easiest place to put it (assuming that the bolt holes line up) would be between the cat and the catback, then you won't have to worry about cutting and welding on flanges just for the ECV. It would have the added benefit of being farther from the highest heat levels in the exhaust. As far as the controller, it seems like running it next to the e-brake cable would be the way to go.

Yeah I ordered this tonight, so I should have it in soon. I plan on putting it right were you said. I think I might try to have some one fab something so it keeps road dirt/water/salt away from it.

As for the cable I was gonna run it under the dash in the corner where the drivers side meets the center console.
