Has anyone ever painted their cat back system? I have the Dual Apexi N1 cat back and I’m not to crazy about the way it looks. I was going to have some Supertrapp mufflers installed but everyone keeps telling me not to do that. Now I’m thinking about painting the entire cat back system with some high temp. black exhaust paint. I’m thinking that the black paint might make the big Folgers cans look a little smaller and kind of blend in with the undercarriage.

I will also have to have the flange that bolts to the cat cut off and a new 3” flange welded on so that it will bolt up to my Corksport cat replacement pipe.

So good idea or not?

wtf are you talking about, i dont think i 've ever heard of anyone painting an exhaust?

 

I should also add that I like the sound of the N1 but I just don't like the bling.
