Recently started into a new project 91 fc-na/t2 converted and am noticing the avcr is cutting out when u rev it over 3g, any theories as to what the Guy did wrong who I bought it from installation wise?

 

Re-do the whole thing.

Get the wiring diagrams and do it right. For all you know he crossed some wires. The AVC-R is complicated to install compared to other boost controllers. It has a lot of connections to make.

 

Yea im working on getting the manual from a buddy of mine who installs them frequently, the parts I'm most worried about is the wastegate he installed along with the very expensive front mount with pin holes in the pipes LOL.( knew a rebuild was gonna happen anyways).
