Apex'i cone filter cleaning?

My air filter is starting to get dirty and I was not sure what Apex'i recommends to use to keep it clean. I know what to use to keep a K&N filter clean but the Apex'i is a "maintenance-free dry-type air filter". Therefore, what do you guys with the Apex'i filter use? I tried to read the papers that came in the box with it but it is all in Japanese.

I sure hope it can be cleaned, $100 to replace an air filter would be nuts.

then pay the 79 bux for it..........i don't see the point in having to waste that money on something that will not give you significant ga ins AND is NOT reusable......I have the HKS and I've cleaned it many times.....some say the foam falls apart but I have yet to see any of it break off........

Dude relax; who said its not reuseable? Read my first post. I bet it can be cleaned, I just want to make sure what to use. And the only reason I said Apex'i makes a better filtter than HKS is from this info

i figures that since they sell replacements they were not reusable.........I know the post came off kinda cold......no worries....intersting.......thanks for the link....... at the HKS.....I'd be pissed if I had PAID for the filter(came with the car)........now i have no idea what to think......and I still don't think I wanna spend 79 bux on a filter..........
