Is it Apex seals or turbo seals or what?

this is a repeat with a different title as I'm still trying to get more feedback...help!

I'm having a bit of a blue smoke problem - did a search on that and I have some symptoms that aren't looking too good. When I accelerate hard I'll get puffs of blue in between shifts. Also, when I come up to a light and push the clutch in to stop as soon as the idle comes down a couple seconds later I see more blue smoke for about 2-3 seconds - then it stops. Doesn't smell good either... sort of a waxy smell.

I just swapped hi-flo for mp and it sort of reactivated this problem - I'm hoping it's the turbo as last time I tried mp I was getting more boost (seat of the pants- quite noticeable)

My engine was a dealer replacement to my car right b4 I bought it (have the service invoice) and I've put about 70k on this engine.

I'm not interested in ATF treatment or other band-aids
It does NOT smoke at idle.

P.S. could it be just the turbo oil seals?

Here's a quick way to tell... pull off the turbo's outlet duct - coated with oil? Turbo seals.

Apex seals will NEVER cause a blue smoke condition as they don't seal oil, just compression. However bad oil control O-rings will cause smoking.

COULD be Turbo oil seals particularly TURBINE seals
check the turbo>Intercooler hose for excessive oil, if yes then its bad turbo COMPRESSOR SEALS (mine are leaking and oil pools in the bottom of my stock intercooler)

But it could be bad ROTOR oil seals - Check Compression as bad oil seals will also cause low compression But compression will improve when tested WET (Inject some 90 wt in the plug holes befor the test)

And Finally it could be an OMP problem - it may be hanging up in the WOT mode and OVER injecting oil at idle

Trust me an OMP can't hang up to cause an engine to smoke I know because I intentionally wired mine to max open once, and the car never smoked. This on an older car where the OMP injects more than twice what a 2nd-gen injects.

I now premix at 1:128, in addition to the 1:150 that the OMP puts out (still an old 12A), and my car doesn't smoke. Runs a lot better tho
