apex seals?
i was wondering whats the difference using the 2mm or 3mm apex seals. what would be the point of 3mm, mainly used for, racing or daily driving, more reliable? do they last longer? do you have to do anything different when you use 3mm? also whats the purpose of rotor clearance?

unless you blew an apex seal from detonation i wouldn't suggest getting your rotors cut for them. 3mm can take a little more detonation than 2mm but don't seal as well as 2mm seals. just don't detonate and you will be fine

They can take more boost. I mean, a whole lot more boost.
Why do it?
- If you have your own shop and can expect to get some return from your extremely costly investment.
- If you don't have to pay the bill (read: sponsors)
- If you absolutly have to have the fastest rotary in your state and have deep, deep pockets.
