apex or racing beat

depends if you want a high dollar apexi "name brand" that honda kids can relate to. It will be loud and cost as much as a jspec engine.
Racing Beat costs just as much but honda kids can't relate to the name brand. also this is the exhaust that your grandmother will love because its very quiet.
Corksport is cheap and loud. Its straight through your grand mother will not like your car anymore. corksport complete exhaust system is the best bang for your buck mod you can get for a second gen imho.

Haven't we ALL heard this
When I first started modding my TII I started with a APEX I N1 Duals Cat back. I liked it ...
Then I added a bonez dp and high flow cat. I still liked it but it got louder. Then I went with a midpipe. Then it got allot louder. I really liked it....nice and loud...but for long trips I needed silenecers because it was starting to hurt my hearing.
I got the N1s when I was 20. Now I am 25 and I was tired of the noise.
I got teh Racing beat turbo back exhaust. After I installed it, saw the build quality, and heard it. I wished I bought it when I was 20.

If you are going to go with a system.. hands down... racing beat.....
if you are planning on keeping the car fairly stock (turbo, etc).. the 2.5 inch system will do nicely... its loud, but not crazy loud with the presilencer.
If you are planning on getting a BNR hybrid (keeps stock exhaust components)... the full 3" RB system will do nicely..
However.. If you are planning to do a custom turbo setup. at some point, you will either have to fabricate a new downpipe or add on to the racing beat since its designed to work with the stock system (no exterlan wastegate provisions, most likely not long enough since most aftermarket manifolds move the turbo forward of the stock position).
I love my RB 2.5" system.. But will sell it next year and go with the 3" RB rear section and fab up a turbo to y pipe setup from scratch as I'm going to add a GT seriers turbo and external wastegate manifold next year. (I will be using Racing Beat Flanges on the pipes!!!!)

i'm disrespectful to dirt
depends what you want. they're both good exhausts but i went with the racing beat full because i'm going for the stock dual look and i like it quiet. i think the n1 looks nice but a little too obnoxious for my taste.

i am legendary
I think I'm the only person in the world almost that absolutely hates Racing Beat exhaust systems other than their headers and downpipes. Don't get me wrong, Apexi is a BIG *** waste of money too, too overpriced. I just have custom exhausts made depending on what I want, a lot cheaper and I get exactly what I want.

N-1 duals are the best exhaust for the TII. I've had mine for about a year and really like them. The look awesome and sound alot better then the others, the other exhausts are *****.
Considering the high price of all performance parts, I feel that the Apexi's were worth the price. A friend of mine got his duals for $275 used but in like new condition. If you don't want to pay for new, check ebay and the parts section of the forum.

I've got the RB turboback and absolutely love it! Ricers don't rev at me because I don't sound like them and that is fine by me. I like having an exhaust that I can hear myself think over while I'm cruising on the highway.

so if I absolutely had to go with a single can, how quiet can I get it without restricting too much? I'm thinking the rb can is too restricting for a one pipe setup. Anyone that can find me a nice muffler for that, I'll agree with whatever they think on this whole Apex/RB thing.

well, I was proved wrong about the RB canister.....so it appears that the RB canister IS straight through so I'd go with that....i think you can make a single exhaust RB setup....

I have some gettho *** redneck exhaust right now but I plan on making a new one. All 2.5in stainless from the turbo (when i get one ) back out to a stainless magnaflow muffler (resonator) then split out to 2 Greddy Evo knockoff cans with 2.5in tips welded on. I think it will sound great and will still be less then a RB or Apex-i system
