Anyone who has a n/a that wants a t2 read this.

Hey guys, i need a car quick, I am looking to trade a complete t2 swap for a good condition-running n/a car preferably with low miles, or rebuilt.
The t2 engine is complete w/53k miles, and runs great, it also includes a k&n intake, and fuel cut defensor, ecu.
The drivetrain includes good tranny, Mazdatrix aftermarket driveshaft, and rearend.
Im located in chattanooga, TN....

Are you trading just the guts or the car too? Wouldn't really work unless someone had 2 FC's.

My car is for sale, but youre going to need to come up with something more than just a TII drivetrain if you expect to trade. Click my sig for info.

Too good to let me do the swap for you eh?

IM acquiring a 86 silver 2+2 automatic next week that needs nothing AFAIK. Ill trade you the car(after Ive gone over it to ensure its in good running condition) for your parts if you want. Ill even deliver it.

I emailed you the other day, plus I called your house and got no answer...anything I should be made aware of?

IT is a silver 86 GXL with gray interior IIRC. IT has moderate miles, low t o mid 100's IIRC, but I wont swear to it. Im travelling to buy it form a friend onlione as a favor(he's on hard times) and it'll only take me a day or 2 to be able to straighten out any problems with it.

IF the only thjing holding you back from putting together that car of mine is the hood/IC issue, do what i told you, drive it easy and stay mostly out of hard boost runs until you get a t2 hood located, or a fmic. A turbo motor will run just fine driving it normally with out WOT boost runs even without the inntercooler being vented to air.

Otherwise, we can plumb the stock IC up as an FMIC until you find a better one. We could use some PVC and connectors until you find what you "want". I know it sounds ghetto but it'll get you on the road.

IF you dont let me know soon on that car(black SE) Its gonna be parted out and outta my way. I will be getting that GXL within 2 weeks, as soon as we both can agree on a meeting time.

Hell, if its that big a deal to you Ill *sell* you my black t2 hood off my car, cause I plan to run a FMIC and NA hood.

Its an 86 Sport 5 speed with 134k on the body, and ~70k engine. We drove it to Baton Rouge twice, its reliable. The paint job is alright (gold), but not perfect. It has the polished bologna slicers on it, and the tires are about 65%. There is a spot of paint missing of the driver's fender, and the AC compressor froze up during last summer. The only other problem with it is that my little nephew flushed the only key down the toilet, and I had to dissasemble the ignition switch so that I could start it up and move it.

If you're interested I could take a pic or two of it.

rxspd,

I just bought a VERY clean 91 escort 1.9 automatic if you want a good daily driver. IT should be very reliable. The paint is red, about a 8 out of 10, the body is about an 8 out of 10, and the interior is a 10. IT needs an engine, but I can find 1.9s all day. I plan to start looking for an engine for it soon, but if I bought one, installed it, Id be looking for at least 3 or 4 hundred plus all your parts in trade for this car, as running I feel it'd be worth minimum $1500-2000.

If I knew for sure you wanted that other car I could arrange to go get it about anytime, but I dont want to get into any more deals like our last one, where Im still sitting on a car I promised to you.

Jonathan,

HE doesnt have a car at all, just a drivetrain he was gonna swap in to a body I had here.

You need to give me a shot at that 91 NA. You know I miss my GTU like hell! I got some GSLSE 680 injectors calling your name if you hook me up!

hey stevo, have you rebuilt the engine? Do you have any pics of the car? You do know it's just for the engine, tranny, driveshaft, and rearend, no car.

rxspd,

I emailed you earlier so check that msg too.

Anyway you ARE awae I can rebuild engines fairly cheap right? I can either build you one right now, even for that black SE, really cheap, or we can wait until whatever engine you gets dies then rebuild it. Just whatever, I told you I was willing to work with you. You need to call me.
