a 245 or even a 225 on a stock 7 inch rim when properly pressurized will actually develop a crown in the middle and lose contact patch. Just visualize what doing a wider tire on the same width wheel does. it starts to bow out. With this sed, i had 225's on my 7 inch t2 wheels out back. i had to keep the pressure down though to maintain contact patch. around 27 pounds.
