Anyone try these mounts???

Has anyone tried these mounts? Do you think they will be too uncomfortable? The car isnt my daily driver. When I am finished I might drive once or twice a week for fun. Would I feel a drastic increase in performance from these (as opposed to poly urethane mounts.) Thanks.

You'll definately feel the engine, but I don't think it will be too bad if your just cruising along.

Agreed.
I was trying to contact them for $3500+ worth of GT-series turbos, and I got NO replies from their eBay e-mail nor their PM's in here.
Screw them.

look into the MMR mouns on Ebay, I have a set - and used to run solid's - and they are just that little bit softer than the solids to make idling the car fairly smooth.

I met the Himni guy once, real nice guy (I got a lower arm bar and a magnetic oil drain plug from him, won in a contest). Never actually bought anything from him, though.

Well, I know a lawyer who is real nice in person, but is the embodiment of all lawyer stereotypes.

I bought those mounts. The car should be running in the next few days, so I'll give a review on them.

Really, you bid on items & never paid for them. I rember that ebay canceled your account for that. You received too many unpaid item strikes in the allowed amount of time. Forget to leave out information did you?

Ted, I checked the PM's & we never received one from you about a sale. I have all the PM's in there from over 2 years.

If you sent a email and we never received it, does that really make us bad people or at fault for anything? We just never got anything from you. I replied to a post you made like this maybe a year ago. At that time, it was a 3000 sale per your post. But above, it's 3500 sale. What's the truth, Ted?

We take care of all of our customers & will do just about anything for them. If we never got a email from you & there for couldn't reply to it, how exactly does that make us at fault for anything? We are flooded with countless emails everyday & do our best to reply to every one of them.

PM on the way. If you have any questions or concerns, I will be happy to talk with you about them. I will even keep checking in on the forums for the next few days to make sure we get this sorted out. (I don't get much time for the forums anymore) =(

On a side note, the mounts aren't harsh at all. They give a bit more vibes at the lower (1200 -2000) PRM's. But just like anything, allot of it has to do with different people's preferences. The feedback we've gotten from customers & from our own use, is one that they don't produce the hyped up amount of harness you read about. (very streeable) We have been giving thought to offering them individually for customers who might be reluctant to go with full solid mounts. When one is used with a stock mount, it's acts like a engine toque brace. Produces even less vibration but really helps to keep the engine put under a load. Very effective & the cost would be cut in half.

Anyway... I run solid aluminium motor mounts, new OEM tranny mounts, and a solid steel diff mount. Yes, you can feel alot more vibration, but it doesn't jar your teeth out or anything.

Oh, and I got my solid mounts from Scalliwag on this forum. I don't think he is around anymore though.

I have UHMW solid drivetrain mounts on my car that I got from Mazdatrix. There is an increase in vibration, but it's not bone-jarring or headache-inducing by any standards. The increase in feedback from the car is very benificial on track, and the cost is lower than delrin bushings as well.
The most annoying thing I have found is the rearview mirror vibrates (gets kinda fuzzy to look at) under some conditions, but that doesn't happen often.
