Anyone try a FD exhaust on an FC?

I keep seeing a couple interesting FD exhausts and I was wondering If anyone has ever test fitted a FD exhaust(just the Muffler and mid-pipe section) on an FC?..say from where the Y pipe starts..to back of car.

This thread shows the Setup that makes me ask the question..(just the way that it is shaped..NOT the price!)

(nice exhaust though!)

exhausts are more chasis specific. modifying a fd exhaust to fit an fc would be pretty much cutting off the muffler and fabricating everything else. Better to either do a full fabricated exhaust with muffler of choice, or buy a nice cat back you like.

also, I've been pondering a 3.5" exhaust, but I am worried about ground clearance. I never even took a look under my car to see how bad the extra .5" would be

Can't speak for the muflers/pipping after the Y pipe, but I can tell you that you won't have any issues from the DP all the way to the inlet of the Y pipe

I had an fd exhaust on my tii , that car also had a v8, so i think if you were willing to do a little work it would work.

I just dont like single exhaust on FCs

I'm still trying to lighten the 76 pound exhaust.(RB Exhaust).
I'm sure the car doesn't care, but I do when I have to work on it!

I would go single for weight savings, but I like how my two mufflers keep things quieter

i think that some of the FD catbacks would fit better than others, and for $1400, that one doesn't look like it would fit....
