Anyone tried to put Tll injectors on an n/a?

I'm building a 13b from an 88 for my 85 GS but i need to know if anybody tried to make that swap. I've got tons of turbo injectors but am totally out of n/a injectors ( got all these turbo eclipse owners gobbling them up) and just want to know the results. I am without a turbo ecu but got lots of n/a's if anybody can help I would be greatful for your advice.

Yes you can use Turbo injectors un a NA block, however, there is no need for that amount of gas on a NA. I don't know the consequences on the primaries tough.

The point is that they will fit non the less.

Actually they are of the same flow rate just different impeadance, I didn't know if the ecu would get pissed or not. The GSL-SE's injectors are bigger than the 2nd gen's I'd like to have a set of those but no such luck.

No the flow rate is not the same on the 85 or the 88 NA motor.

The flow rate for the T2 and the old 85 is the same, maybe that's what you meant.

What are you using to control the injectors??? If you are using the 88 NA 'puter, and GSL-SE or T2 injectors you will be dumping too much fuel and actually be lower on HP unless you have seriously ported the 88 engine.

According to they dyno, i'm puttind down around 170rwhp...now with a couple more mods, and some hp calcultors, i'm puttind down around 180rwhp in my n/a 90 with stock injectors. Now, i have a s-afc, that has the motor leaned out around 25%. Stock inj. will work fine for just about anything you want to do...with the larger injectors, all it will do is make your car run rich...then you'll be making less power. CJ

Oh wail until I get the pics of the port job you guys will go nuts. I'm taking the thin walls out from between the six ports on the front and rear housings and using a ported 12a center. those front and rear housings will have ports big enough to stick four fingers in.

No its not. The 85s are 720cc and the TII are 550.

You can't use a 12A center with a post-85 engine. The water seal location is on the rotor housing on the old motors, and on the side housings on the new ones. So you'd end up with no water seals in the center!

Plus, where would you put the primary injectors, unless you used a TWM throttle body?

Oh yeah thanks for reminding me I was gonna use a turbo center (no egr) and I've been considering throttle body injection. Yeah I knew I was right on the injectors they knew something back then.
