Exclamation anyone thought of a hood vent like this?

that almost triangle in the middle of the hood is right above the radiator shroud. Why not cut out part of that triangle and bend it down to pull air out of the engine bay. Then cut a section of the shroud out so that the hot air flows straight out.

you meen cowl? yes... cept you would fold the metal down into the fan shroud so your directly pulling out the hot air and your not cutting into the hood bracing. Also its free... unless you wanna fiberglass and stuff to make it clean.

there's plenty ways of getting the hot air out of the engine bay and this would work but it also would probably be ugly as hell and also allow water, dirt and animals into your engine bay.

water and such would flow straight to the ground and would never touch any electrical items or anything. I'll cut up my old steel hood and do a nice fiberglass job and stuff and show you it wont look ugly as hell.
