If your car is turbo its not too bad. I ran 3inch racing beat downpipe to hollow cat to 2 1/2 inch duals and unless it was wide open it wasn't too bad and it sounded awesome when it was. You might not want the attention though depending on the laws and enforcement of such where your from.

if your rex is n/a fuggitabowdit it's ridiculous!

I'm running a Racingbeat header into a 3" straightpipe into some sort of borla can.

sounds pretty awesome and yes, it's loud, but not stupid loud.

I can drive without wanting to kill myself.

I'm thinking of making some sort of silencer for the tip, though, or something, because I hate getting exhaust tickets. I hope that won't kill the tone. I'm not planning on driving this car on the street too much anyways.

It's just not a smart thing...take the small hit that you get with some pre silencers or at least something in there.
i liked it for a while i had straight pipe not even a muffler couldn't handle it after a 700 mile trip had to put a replica n1 on it and it quited down a lot. the tone is nice but the decibel level with straight pipe it ridiculous. get presilencers they are still straight through just have fins inside to catch some of the noise.

My car has an RB header, test pipe and corksport 3" catback. Its loud as ****, no, in fact, its louder than ****. Ive had it setup like this for about 8 months and I think it's time for me to get a pre-silencer.

Heres the only video I can find right now of my car. Pay no attention to the crappy drifting, haha.

I ran off the manifold only for like 3 months on my old 7. Its loud but sounds freaking sweet. No cop problems, not even driving right next to one. And the car was stripped. Had a dash and drivers seat.
