My Rx-7 is my daily driver

The sub didn't cost that much. I think I spent less $300 including the board and additional amp. The time was the bigger deal. I have a set of components up front as well. However I am still using the FACTORY head unit

CHUCK the spare tire and get a can of fix-a-flat. You will save 40 pounds.....

My friend Derek (Swooshmand) is an audio performance specialist, and was thinking about doing that.

Anyone tried them. Are they pieces of crap? You can mount them horizontal or vertical.

ive seen these on ebay too the last couple months. just doesn't seem like it would do much, but perhaps essence in which it creates the sound/air movement. im not an audiophile, so I always double question myself. Aren't those like 200w or so? Though I know 200w can sound very nice if properly installed.
I haven't done much with component systems other than your standard subs, mid range and tweets hooked to a crossover and amps. Other than that.

I did see a pic, not sure from where, of a guy who cut holes in the two bins and put two subs in the bins. I figure they would be free air unless there was a way to seal the bins. Anways, goodluck.

It can be done, just fiberglass it. or put in a self amplified tube such as kenwoods 10 in tube ( forgot model number??????). they sound good in hatches.

here is what i did with my 12's (by the way Im only using a 200W amp cause anymore and the bass would over power the balance. I still need to fabricate a cover so that way they can't be seen, right now i have a towel covering them, ugly blue towel, instant ugly points Yes that is a custom job, no it din't cost me a fortune. es they hit hard, and yes i need a capacitor :P
