Guys, I have my FC in primer and really contemplating in painting it camo to be a bit different and save on a nice paint job. The car will be a daily driver.

I've thought about doing this on my own '7, but I don't think there's really any way to make it look good. Matte, gloss, all types of color combinations... I think it's better off being a solid dark green, red, or black. But it's your car. I know I've seen a couple different ones, one was a standard matte green/brown/tan color scheme and another (was an FD) was a gloss shades of red scheme.

There was a guy with a more winter looking camo on here, but I have no idea how to find it.

I have seen cars with the black, white & grey camo paint. They looked good, but they were professionally done. So with that said if done right it can look good. Looking retarded would be half assing the paint or having multi colored panels. Good luck in whatever you decide & remember at the end of the day it's your car so if you like it, then who cares what others think.

Do not do this if you do not want the car to not look good.
edit: actually if it was a drift or time attack car I would support it because you want to grab peoples' attention with those. If I pulled up behind a camo painted car on the street I'd laugh, I think.

you ever think of wrapping it instead of paint? i would think way less expensive, you know exactly how its going to look before you start and when you get tired of it or sell... just peel it off. and it saves your paint in the meantime.

Well once again it's your car so if you want a camo 7, do it like one of the FD's I posted. Also if you do, have the car perform well to offset the paint. Sometimes a simple paint scheme goes a long way.
