Mark, do you need any wiper switches for cores? I have a box full of probably 10-20 of them, mostly Im afraid to sell them because I didnt test them and you know how they are.

I will make you a good deal on them if you are interested.

Now thats' timing.

Damn Dumbas Clutch mechanic put a battery charger on my car and fried a interior fuse and now my wipers are stuck on full speed in every setting. I think the ****** fried it.

It would be nice having a RX7 with more than one functioning wiper setting, even though I live in AZ where it won't rain for 6 months. LOL.

I might PM you about this once I get my car back.

Hey Icemark, You think my circuits are fried?
The wipers are stuck on fast in every position even OFF.

This is how it came to be like this:

Car wouldn't start at Mechanics. The dumbass put the battery chager on it and amps it so the stock guage is pegged beyond 16V.
All the lights like idiot cluster started glowing brighter than normal and the wipers started going frantic. He then shut it off after I was Yelling at him.

He blew the interior fuse. I've pulled the wiper fuse so it isn't running when my car is on. You think it's fixable or maybe a fuse somewhere.

So far the main block fuses are good and I've checked all the fuses on the driver side kick panel.

Any RHD 'vert ones?

I don't know how to repair mine (it's not the relay), and I can't find a replacement, so I'm thinking of using a coupe wiper switch and wiring in a ON-OFF-ON momentary switch to operate the roof.

Sort of related, I've noticed that some 'verts had a factory rocker switch on the center console for the roof, so what went in the hole that normally has the coupe rear wiper switch or 'vert roof switch?

ON ABS models, the dash surround had to be modified, because the column did as well. There was no longer room for the old style turnsignal and cruise switch, so they moved the turnsignal lever down to teh column, and the cruise MAIN switch to the spot you're talking about. Non ABS models have the setup you describe, this is how my 90 vert is.

yeah that is common, there is a transistor that gets blown and then the switch will act just like that. I have a couple sitting around that have that transistor blown.

I just have to reverse engineer the switch (in my free time) and figure out which one does it. I'll let you know and send you down the transistor when I get it figured out.

'vert switches are the hard ones to get, and I imagine that 'vert RHD are even worse. I'll keep my eyes out for you though.

I only just re-wrote the code this week to make it more Netscape friendly, but it still doesn't show things in netscape that it should.

Netscape just went to hell when AOL bought them and their code has just become garbage.
