Somehow the wire on mine was ripped off so it's just an o2 sensor without a wire goin anywhere... so i bought a new one but i can't see any dangling wires or anything. Just wonderin if anybody knows where the wire goes to? I took a look in the FSM but it didnt really show.

look around the front of the uim/rear of air pump section. You will see a single wire plug..

 

O2 senson wire is a grey sheilded wire that comes out of the harness with the BAC wires by the alternator. Easy to find. It's one of 2 grey shielded wires on the harness.

 

its brown on S5, I just fixed mine a couple days ago. funkspektrum is right, its on the same harness that plugs into the BAC.
