I put mine under one of the hatch lids. I used an Opima Red Top and a Summit relcating kit. My email is huklbery78@aol.cm if you want to email me!

working on mine now........ putting behind the passanger seat where the hatches USE to be. I plan on fabricating my own custom interior from the seats back...

so hatch is the place then. actually, i thought of that at first and i guess that would be the best place to relocate the battery.

E6KT2, which relocating kit did u get from Summit?

One thing to consider.
If you plan on doing any racing, you will need an external disconnect switch for your battery if it's moved from the engine bay.

actually, that's my original plan, have a switch under the hatch so I can disable my car when parked at night or places I don't trust.

Do a search on this topic. Ted did an excellent write-up on the correct way to do this with wire sizes, breakers, etc.
