You might want to post in the your local forums (at the bottom of the main rx7club page). People would be most likely to know in there....

Apex Auto parts?
Yes, i have purchased from them in the past.
They are a reputable seller, though have never tried purchasing an engine from them, so far just a shifter and some other interior pieces.

Very good packaging, prompt shipping, and good prices.
They are friendly to deal with also.

Yeah he used to be north of Austin and he's a great guy to deal with. I bought/bartered a ton of fb bits from him and some FC electronics. He used to deal in used parts, didn't know he was building engines though.

Just bought an s5 rear iron from him today. Have done business with him before and I refer my customers to him. Ask for Jeff Redpath (owner).

I have dealt with Jeffery Redpath/Apex Auto Parts for several years. I much prefer to deal with him than any of my local salvage yards; he is much more responsive, helpful, and stands behind his product. Just last week he sent a replacement AC compressor to me, after I found the first one he sent was defective. No questions asked, just 'Ill send another.' It arrived a few days later.

He didnt even ask for the old one back. Most new parts suppliers will make you pay for the shipping to get the part back to them. He didnt ask for that either.

He has my highest recommendation.

+1 on the positive reviews of Jeffrey and Apex. I have bought a number of items from him with nothing but positive transactions. Highly recommend Apex.
