Anyone have true HID on their FC??
Anyone have true HID on their FC??
I just saw a 89-91 T2 FC with HID lights a few minutes ago. I knew it was true HID (not those "blue bulbs") by it's brightness and how it lit up the cars bumper in front of it. It really made the car stand out and didn't glare at all.
The car still had the pop-up lights, so it wasn't any kind of sleek headlight conversion or anything fancy. I got the driver to pull over and we chatted for a while. He said they were Philips 6000K and had some e-code replacements. He also mentioned they cost him $750!! Ok, so this lighting conversion is possible, but how many here have shelled out the $$$ for it? It seems like a worthwhile mod...maybe when the price drops I'll grab a set for my 7.

heres a pic from the inside of my car of HIDs on the road...poor quality, but a pic nonetheless. I just figured out how to use the night mode on my digi-cam tonight...too many features on this damn camera to learn quickly
