anyone have these mods on tII and what rwhp

The plan for the tII I got a couple months ago is as follows
Safc
bigger sec injectors
walbro 255 pump
boost controller
full 3 inch turbo back exhaust
tb mod (port and removal of sec butterflies)
air pump, ps, ac eliminated
lightweight crank pulley
lightweight flywheel and clutch
magnecor 10 mm wires and ngk plugs
koyo radiator
tid 3 inch
intake
What type of power and how much boost are most running with these mods oh of course metering will be handled with egt boost, water temp, afr gauges and dyno tuned

And second my longer term goal will be to add
to4 60-1 or gt series turbo
fmic
big streetport with rebuild.
some type of timing management(dont know what people use)
With those mods what kind of power could be made and on what boost level??

really depends on how well it is tuned.

With those mods, upgraded secondary injectors and a Standalone EMS, usually around 400whp at 1 bar of boost.

lets assume it is tuned with a dyno and wideband. Just a around ...would be nice. What I assume is around 250-275 maybe???

if you want the stock turbo to last dont go over 220whp, thats about 9 psi with the mods you listed and tuned

with 14-15 psi stock turbo can do 270 whp, tuned also

Where did you get those numbers?

At 9 psi you are about a psi over stock S5 numbers. which are 200 at the engine.
I pushed 180hp/182tq@rw at 8-9psi with S4 rotors,intake plates,and S5 housings plus S5 turbo/manifolds,2.5inch DP/racepipe,3inch catback, and stock S5 TID.

I would assume 220-30rwhp at 11-13psi
14+psi is said to just tear up the bearings and detroy the seals since it over spins it.

so what kind of 1/4 times do most make with around 220 or so rwhp?? and how about 400?? obviously at that point you would need some serious traction.

Well the only real power mods you have are intake, exhaust, and the TB mod. Good job on doing the supporting mods though...lots of people skip those and wonder why the engine goes kaboom. The only things you are missing:

1. FCD...you will need this to prevent fuel cut above stock boost levels
2. Ported wastegate...DEFINATLY do this ASAP unless you want to blow that engine up. With the 3" exhaust and intake you have, you will be boost creeping like crazy. Port that WG out, and get a boost gauge to keep an eye on creep.

Otherwise looking good. You can run the stock turbo up to around 11 psi reliably and will probably be making around 230-240 RWHP.

Nice Now don't go putting that thing on and flooring it unless the wastegate is ported...your wife would feel bad if her present blew up your REX.

yeah i boost creep like crazy. I've hit 11psi and let off multiple times.

As a semi precaution until I port/and get 720's I up'd the fuel pressure to 65psi static. Doesn't do much but anything to give an extra cushion is good.

You can still blow it up if you get too big of a spike.

You need to take the turbo off and you can do it yourself with a dremel tool in no time at all. Do a search for a writeup.

well I read the write up and that does seem pretty easy to do except the har part is not mentioned...thats getting the turbo off the car. everything seems to be so crammed together in that area. When I and my wife replaced the dp with the 3 inch one it was hard to get the head shield and dp-turbo nuts off. anybody got a walk through for that??

Go to the 2nd gen archives, I think NZconvertible's thread is called "massive s4 wastegate porting". It's definitly an awesome thread. I'm doing the same exact setup with my s4 vert, but you should throw dual stage water injection in there. It'll only be another $300 for a pretty nice setup. I'm going threw coolingmists, they have alright setups for a decent price.
