Anyone have a picture or can describe how thw wiring harness is placed in a 87 t2??

ive been toying around trying to get the harness in place. i have everything labled although i can seem to get the harness to set properly. It either is keeping the UIm from seating well or its not reaching certain connections,. ive tried several ways and my haynes manual doesnt really show the harness that well .. can anyone help me out ???

on a turbo:

it goes from the hole in the firewall, to the inner fender, where theres a ziptie that pops in to a hole in the inner fender, then down under the abs (if its got it), its zip tied to the heater pipe (theres a grommet on the harness for it), it now it goes to a bracket (i believe theres a ziptie/ziptie w/clip here too) and turns to go up the shock tower, the upper bracket has a tab to hold the harness and it turns again to go the the engine. theres a clip on the harness that goes to a tab that gets bolted on the thermostat housing.

then it all goes between the alternator and the vacuum rail. once it gets over the oil feed banjo it turns rearward, and theres a clip on the oil filler neck that the harness goes into (it also holds the plug wires), the 3-4 connectors for the emissions solenoids come out here and clip in. now the rest of the harness has 2 branches. on a t2 the front branch has 3 connectors, the coolant temp sensor, #1 primary, and #1 secondary. these go parallel to the vacuum rack, in the front and plug in. the next branch goes parallel to the vacuum rack but on the rear side, the #2 primary and secondary injectors plug in. this branch goes UNDER the vacuum rack to get across.

2 additional things. if its a used harness it should fit one way, even though you may be able to force it to go in wrong. and b) if theres a white peice of tape, or a protector, thats where it was clipped in
