Fluidine
I put one in my 88 T2 and the temp. swung around just like with the stock radiator. I put a new Mazda thermostat in and it solved my problem immediately. My temp. still does move around a bit, just not to the extremes that it did before.

From what you have posted, I'm guessing that you are confused because your upgrade to the Fluidyne did not make the car run colder on the gauge. Well, that's exactly what's supposed to happen. The temperature of the engine is set by the thermostat, not the radiatior. The upgrade to the Fluidyne got you a better radiator with more cooling capacity.

install an aftermarket temperature gauge if you really want to track your temperatures. I think most manufacturers use gauges that don't reflect high variations in operating temperatures until it's too late.
