I have the SSautochrome 3" turbo back. With the RB presilencer...it's uhhh, loud to say the elast, lol But, sounds nice. I had to cut out a 4" section because I used the presilencer which is longer than a cat. Other than that, fitment was great, quality was awesome. I'm happy with it, except for the vlume. I plan on getting the RB turbo back soon(well, whenever I get 700 bucks)

Welds are fine on my system

BTW - Found a pic of the DP that I received!

Can't go wrong for the price, even if you need to cut the smaller section and weld a 3 inch flange; that's what I did

Did you tried the borla muffler as a pre silencer?, in my case it GREATLY reduced the sound volume; as a matter of fact the system gets louder (way louder) with the high flow cat in place of the borla muffler as a pre silencer.

I ended up using a RB 3 inch DP, and a custom made borla muffler as a pre silencer, replaced the 2.75 section of the cat back, and here is how it looks.

No, I'm a broke bastard. I can't afford a muffler to put oin there now, lol Plus, I like the smaller/fairly stock looking tips of the RB. So, I'll deal with the sound for a few months, and save up the cash.

A friend of mine has the turbo manifold on his sr20det. The manifold has blued and the welds have stood up great. Good fitment and excellent performance. I'd recommend this company to anyone.

I have this exhaust. My car is wrecked at the moment but while the month of driving I did get to enjoy with it on there was alright. I was supprised it was actually quieter than my friends corksport exhaust. Everybody is right about the gaskets though. My turbo to dp gasket fried in less than 3 days. It was on the 3rd day I noticed it anyway. So I replaced with a good one from Nopi that I had for another car. In my opinion for the money this is about the best you can do on the market today unless you have some friend or hookup in the exhaust biz.

From that last pic the inside of the muffler looks really small! Anyone got a measurement of the muffler core...or is that just the tip silencer?

It's not full 3". Where the "race cat" section is it tapers down to 2.5" just like the CS exhaust system "with stock cat" that CS sells.

Which borla did you use(model and case lenght)? I'm thinking of doing the same .They make their "sportsman XR-1" in a 12inch and 16inch case length.cheers
