*bring thread back from dead*

I'm also interested in finding this out. Does anyone have a compressor map for this sucker? You'd think they would have done this already.

back from the dead again,
anybody know what size the compressor wheel is? how does it compare to say a garrett unit, i have a spare 87 turbo lying around and i want to take the compressor wheel and housing and put it on my t3 to put on my vw.

you think the wheel is close to a t4? that'll be cool, a cheap hybrid.

Thanks
Wing

I don't see what good that will do you, but if you really want to figure it out, the A/R Ratio = scroll cross-sectional Area / Radius from centerline. Once again, my previous link still applies.

BTW, are you sure that you don't want a professional to upgrade your turbo?
