Anyone have a cold air box blue print?

I work in a metal shop for my day job, and I've been thinking in the slow times I could cut a cold air box for my NA FC and weld it up.

Does anyone have a .pdf or something of a blue print with measurements they could email me? I could probably make 2 or 3 if I get time out of stainless. I want to go to an open element, but don't want to suck up that hot bay air.

You might want to use alluminum, and remember to keep the maf sitting correctly and not too close to the throttle body

If I have aluminum bolted to sleed though, won't it cause increased electrolisys or something though? Aluminum would be a bit lighter, but Stainless would be good I was thinking.

Maybe I'll just pull my intake and make a template to cut from.

Design and make a cold air box and then come to us saying that you will make more. Untill then, this thread will be listed as "all talk no show"

use aluminum.. it dissapates heat better... $o doe$ titanium... ss tends to soak heat and keep it there... (did a couple of bootleg test with heat gun, stop watch, and temperature gun. lol...)

On aluminum. Also, get some insulating tape and line the box, especially if you make it from stainless.
