you need another rad and hoses etc to run that.
it is water to air.

But has results indicated better or worst than a traditonal FMIC as far a actually cooling of the air?

There is a lot of religion (relying on "faith" not "facts") on this topic. The best information I've seen on the topic is on the MR2OC site in this thread. Lots of good measured data in that thread.
