Anyone have an aftermarket tranny?

Im asking because I keep seeing these hks trannies for sale, and I would like to switch up. Since I blew my trans and clutch at the same time, I just want to upgrade most of the drivetrain.

The HKS ones are only like $6K... twice the value of most top line condition FCs

Yeah rx7's are a great deal. If I get another I'd sitch to an auto tranny after fighting my 5 speed for the last 6 years occasional losing to Mustangs(boo) cause the tranny sticks in first gear at 7500 rpm and second is not much better.

OS Giken makes a gearset for the t2. But expect to pay top dollar for that.

blahh my FMIC setup costs more then 90% of FC's. The car is always the cheapest investment! Buy the car and never look back. If I was SCCA racing the car and I had the cash I would upgrade to a 6 speed sequential tranny.

That’s b/c you were pushing 400whp on a NA tranny Martin.

No, I know, im not complaining about the stock tranny. It actually lasted pretty long after all the abuse.

Im well aware of the price tag, I seen a couple for 4-5k. I believe that rx7store had one, but I cant seem to find it anymore. Anyways, I was looking for a sequential one but cant seem to find any.
