Anyone with a glass sunroof?

I got a glass sunroof and i need some weather stripping for it. I couldnt use my other weatehrstrippign from the rusted one, it wouldn't fit. But is there any place or anything else i can use for it? I've currently got this other crap on there but there's like a half inch gap between the sunroof and the roof so it leaks argg. Thanks for anyhelp, sorry but i can get pic's no digicam, but i will if i can. Thanks!

i got a glass sunroof, there is a weather strip you can get at the home depot thets very thick, you will need to get a nice razor blade to it since its a little too thick on the vertical side. make sure you glue it well to place also, it comes with self adhesive, but after a couple fo opening and closing, it cant hadle it too well, also you might check out www.jcwhitney.com the have diffrent aftermarket weatherstrips that are rubber. i did not get mines from them cause the pics are fuzzy, ask for a catalogue...

Yeah keep me in the loop!

I too have a glass sunroof, it's going in as soon as the paint is done this weekend.

The weather stripping looks OK, but if there was a place to get new stuff...

Hey NVC_Scorpio, what kind is that in the picture, it doesn't look like mine? The weather stripping doesn't look right either.

Sorry, I didn't see your request for a picture, I'll take one today and post it if you still need it.

Does anybody have a count of the number of glass sunroofs that were sold for the second generation cars?

If you mean the lexan ones the list was like 5 or 6 of which I was one. I'll take some pics of mine when I install it in my TII.

Actually I was thinking of glass sunroofs... But I would be interested to see how the lexan ones turn out.
