hi,
Ihave a fujitsubo exhaust on my fc turbo2. I recently got a muffler ticket, and i need to clear the ticket.I dont have a stock turbo2 exhaust system to swap back to!and yet the stock oem t|| exhaust is hard to find!
The cop pulled me over saying that my car was too loud. But, my car is under the decibal limit 95db. Iwas just going home at night, on 4th gear going the speed limit 35 mph.The rpm was under 2000!The cop was really mean to me, and saying thats what you get for driving arocket. and iwas saying its not that loud.He gave me a ticket anyways. I dont think he even has proof taht mycar is over the decibal sound, he just pulled me over just because mycar looks like a racecar.
im gunna fight the ticket, but i need proof that the exhaust is california state legal, or 50state legal in case the judge is gunna ask. Court date is on on May 25. does anyone have a Fujitsubo certicficate ?? I dont have one because I got this exhaust setup at a used parts center. ireally need proof that its u.s. legal...or else Icant win the case. HELP A RX7 BROTHER OUT!!!

any ideas guys? does anyone have a certificate they can scan and email to me?

I hate to say it man but your S.O.L. Fujitsubo exhaust arent California legal. Goodluck!!

no, theres no cats, there 2 resonators and a 3rd big resonator that looks like a cat in the center pipe.....I never got caught. The down pipe is original turbo2 but the shop JPR Motor cut it and welded on a scrap pipe to hook up to the Fujitsubo dual pipe setup. So icant use the stock turbo 2 downpipe I have cause teh mounting part to the center pipe is cutoff and welded on to a straightpipe with a resonator.
man im screwed.. iwas hoping fujitsubo was 50state legal...Is it legal? cause Alot of people run it and buy it in U.S.!?!

I cant find a oem or state legal turbo2 exhaust setup anywhere.I even checked ebay.. If icant fix the ticket or win the case my car registration will get suspended! My fc is my daily driver to get to school and everwhere. I have to win somehow.
because if the judge says to go to a police check station, i dont know if theyll look under the car, and actualy know what it is..

All i need is a certificate or some kind of document saying the fujitsubo exhaust tips are legal..

sorry man. Save some money and buy the Racing Beat turbo-back. go to www.barotary.com and ask if you can BORROW the stock stuff.
