Anybody ever installed one on there FC? The gas tank looks like it weighs a lot.

 

I haven't installed them in a FC, but I have on other vehicles. Eventhough they are used for weight reduction, usually a fuel cell weighs more than a gas tank of equal size. The way they reduce weight is they have small capacities. If the car is your daily driver and you don't want to stop at every other gas station I would stick with the stock one.

 

Agreed, the SFI/FIA rated ones are BIG BUCKS and are made of metal (required).&nbsp All the plastic ones you see are only for drag and will not pass most road racing sanctions and probably an inspection for a street car.
