Anyone ever notice...

Anyone ever notice that when the headlights are down on an FC the lines line up with the FTP cutouts? I was thinking of cutting to join them and make a larger hole for custom non-pop up lights. What do you think? Look at your car and then tell me. Put some round lights in, surrounded by fiberglass, then put plexi over it...maybe tint the plexi. Just an idea because I want some different lights & was thinking of the East Bear kit but can't find it anywhere anyways.

R-Magic, RE Amemiya, and Border all make kits that take advantage of the headlights in their resting position. some guys have done the reconstruction to the front bumper like you're talking about...one guy with a green FC posted a thread this week on it...also, check on the last page of the "who's located in VA" thread in the NE forum section. there is a purple FC that has the homemade headlight conversion...

I know about the aftermarket parts made for this but they are so damn expensive. I love the RE Amemiya one and would like to try to mimic that as much as I could. I want to do the lights like I said and then cut the little "grill" pieces in the front so that it is all opened up and put some grate up, maybe painted.
