Any good places to get one rebuilt?

These guys have a turbo with larger compressor side for $729.00 but I don't know if that's with a core or what. They advertise that it flows 25% more air.

Find Dale Clarks web site. He has instructions on how to do it yourself and links to the places with the rebuild kits. One of the links has a place that will rebuild it for you for about $300.00. Here is the info. they sent me:

Remanufactured Turbocharger # $
Remanufactured Cartridge # $
New Repair Kit # 300-550 $111.22

Installation of repair kit by Turbo City is $175 plus price of kit above.

Installation will include assembly and disassembly, cleaning of all parts
and housings to a near new appearance, and balancing wheels and shaft.

Prices are plus shipping and handling.

The repair kit contains all internal bearings, seals and gaskets.
It does not contain any wheels, shaft, or housings. The cartridge is
the complete center section, fully assembled, which includes the shaft
and both compressor and turbine wheels.

The turbo is complete and ready for installation. We require as a
condition of the warranty, a new OEM oil supply line for either
assembled unit to insure proper flow of oil. (Not supplied)
The turbocharger has a 12 month or 12,000 warranty.

In the event you choose to attempt a fix with the repair kit, and upon
opening up turbo you find evidence of additional damage, don't open
the repair kit package, and we will take it back and credit towards a
complete turbo -- but only if it has not been opened.

We accept Visa, M/C and Discover Card. You may Email your order
for payment with a credit card. Please include full number,
expiration date, and full name on card, plus complete shipping
address for UPS delivery. Shipment will sent at lowest price
ground shipment unless otherwise instructed.

If you don't feel like rebuilding it yourself I would also suggest majestic. I had it rebuilt and upgraded for like 6 somthin' an it runs strong. I can hear it whistle (sp) out the back.

 

I will throw in my 2 cents with Felix Wankel. If you aren't going to do it urself then I would get Bryan (excesboost@ao.com) to rebuild it. He does good work and has decnt prices. He is located in Birmingham, Al.
If for some reason you cant get in touch with him and want to then post back here and ill hook you up.
