just wondering if anyone here ever fixed there windshield, some idiot threw a rock at mine

 

do you mean patch a bulls eye or remove and replace the window?

Bulls eys are pretty simple with the kit from most autoparts stores, just make sure the crack does not get moisture in it before patching.

haven't done a R&R of the window yet. It looks pretty simple in the shop manual though

 

I've removed my windshield, and the guys who do that professionally earn every penny. I've never cussed so much in my life. I think running a heat gun over the sealing surfaces would have made it easier, but getting the wire in there to cut the sealant wasnt' bad, but cutting the sealant with the wire sucked!
