Anyone else notice that the forums are becoming full....

the forums are becoming full of the same questions over and over again.

its really quite annoying.

at one point this week i saw three threads about the 3800 rpm hesitation on page 1. in my opinion, i think we should try to clean this place up. but that would take alot of work.

now imagine how people who've been here for a couple of years must feel. Same questions year after year. Hence the FAQ which answers all of these questions. And a search bar. Yet somehow people still post the same questions again.

I been here for a while, and I have brought this same question up with the mods over and over and over again... ITs bullshit... you should see how many threads about TII convertion there are, when there are a million write ups. IT gets to the point that you tell the people to search, and then when they do, they come up on the same topic thread and once inside its just someone else telling the other thread starter to search.... I mean this **** dont stop, and I like helping people out, but I just get frustrated seeing the same fukin questions.

No it's really not... The lounge is a discussion forum. This is intended as an information database for people to research, which is why there is a search option. Threads should only be posted if a thorough search has been done. If you're too damn lazy to look for the information you need, then you don't need to own an FC anyways. Bottom line...

Maybe they should get rid of the clown and use that entire space for one big huge ******* search button?!

Absolutely correct. Except people keep on asking questions that have been answered many times already. That's not called discussion. Come up with something new or interesting, and there'll be something to discuss.

Yea well right at the top of the forum you have this...

"ALL MEMBERS NEW AND OLD: Must Read Before Posting; Rules and Guidelines"

Where you'll find this...

"Please search before you post. Most questions have been asked in the past.

This forum represents a huge knowledge base of information that took years to develop. Because of this, almost all of the common questions (and many of the not-so-common ones) have been asked and answered many times before. The search function is located at the top right corner, accessed via the button that says "Search". Getting a good set of search terms is important. Generally, keeping it short and simple will get the job done. For example, if you are looking for info on rebuilding an engine, searching for "engine rebuild" will generally get better results then "how do I build an engine". If you want to know about the 3800 RPM hesitation, don't search for "hesitation", but search for "3800 hesitation" instead.
"

So yea I just told you very clearly what the forum is and isn't... Thank you...

its really great when you search and search and all you can find are threads that have the same problem, but the only solution people give is to search.

Good of you to notice...

But I guess you missed the part about...
Generation Specific

So tell me...how is THIS thread being Generation Specific?

This is going to get moved into The Lounge, period.
