I use it, and I can't hear it at all ... granted my exhaust is really loud. Just curious how loud it seems to others? I'm hoping it's working right. I am only running about 9.5 PSI right now, and it's a 10-30 BOV .. I am curious if that could be related also. I pulled all the washers, and trimmied the spring just slightly to try to lower the PSI needed on it. I am curious how it will work out with higher boost and a FMIC.

that one is super crazy loud. it might not be opening.... thats bad.

look at it and rev the motor and see if it opens.

 

I have the RFL one and it is Really Fuckin Loud. Might wanna look into it if you don't like yours. What boost are you running anyways? people can hear mine from about 1/4 mile away easily.

 

Are you sure your thinking of the type-H? I never assumed it was one of the louder ones. I know the RFL is. Only 9.5 PSI with the stock intercooler right now.

Will it open from just reving it, under no load?

 

i can make a few pounds with a 5k rev. but i have a 3"dp... dunno your mods.

I have the type H. I can hear it pretty well. Even with stock exhaust I could get it to actuate at 5k in neutral. I dunno why you can't hear yours.

 

if u read the description from some sites that sell it it says its suppose to be one of the loudest..............
