Anyone Done Rotisserie on FC3S ?

Want to do full restoration on my project

Never done it before - but found out that Rotisserie will ease it up a lot

I also found out that manufactured ones are quite expensive and DIY should be much cheaper to do

So ... Anyone done that ? Could you please provide some sort of guide/plans

If by any chance theres a thread for it already ,could u point me there ?

Thanks

My friend built one using a cheap wheel hub for a trailer for the rotisserie part, then built the rest from square tubes.
It was basically like this, where you bolted it together in the middle.
The bar that you fit to the body is fastened to the trailer hub using a 2-3 of the bolts.

Yeah I built one years ago for a e-production scca car. Stitch welded the chassis all together inside and out. Made out of square stock and engine stand parts.

Rotisserie

I currently have a car on a rotisserie, not my FC but a Z. It’s a used premade unit so it doesn’t have all the nice features. The problem I see with home made units is the lack of adjustability. If you’re looking for something just to flip the car thats fine, but you may struggle since you can’t center the weight. Look around and see if any body shops would rent one thats not in use.

Renting would be way too expensive for me

My project is going to be there for quite a long time

I still dont know how lm going to do it

Weld from scratch or buy 2 engine stands and modify it for a car ? - IDK

But l know that after april l will have to look out on throwing money away
