anyone from the Atlanta area?

There is a black 91 TII at a lot called "Atlanta Fine Cars" in Jonesbourogh, GA. Has anyone checked this car out. If anyone lives in the area would you check it out for me. Thanks

Wsup man. I bought my 87 TII from them. They seem very shady. That car has been sitting there for over a year. I was very intersted in that 91 because of its looks and interior. When I asked to test drive it it would not start. It was really flooded. I went back a couple of days later. They got it to start. I drove it for about 5 minutes. The car went into limp mode. I think it just needs an oil metering pump. Anyway they still wanted 5,000 for it. The body of the car is really good shape. Take a compression tester with you. Let me know if you have any other questions about it. Peace

Ya man,

I was actually looking at the same car you are talking about. I never went to see it though. Like Keith says, they look pretty shady. Good luck and tell us how it goes.

Too bad that didn't work out. I did however buy an 88 Supra turbo, so I guess it all worked out!

yeah you might find something good in there lots, but you'd better get the compression numbers on the car before you buy it.

Too bad, I like the Turbo II better than the supras overall.

hey..i saw tat there like 6 months ago....i wouldnt buy **** from them, wanted like $6000 back then, it smoked like a bitch, so yea, flooded, also, tha guy there was seemed very "fishy". Supras are nice too, if modded well. Glad u didnt buy that crappy TII though, hope u can find another one down tha road. ITS tough in atlanta to find a good running TII, at least for the right price, but good luck anyyways.

yeah, that's why I did't buy another one they had. It had lower compression and they would't re-do the crappy rebuild that had already done.

Vaughnc How long ago was it that you went? Are you talking about the black 87 TII that was there. It had crappy interior no spoiler and crappy paint. I bought that car did the ATF trick and the compression went up to 90 on each rotor. Just wondering if the engine has ever been rebuilt. Later

could be. I know they get them from the auctions all the time.

I think compression was ~35psi on each rotor when I had it checked.

I've been meaning to check out both their locations lately as they do have a few rx-7s sitting around Never know what you might find.
