Anybody use Whitewall tires on their FC?

More or less i'm looking for pictures of white fc's running tires that have whitewalls on them. I'm a little bit oldschool when it comes to tire styles and was just wondering what it looks like, since i don't have any good ideas on how it'd look i'm requesting pictures if anybody has some out there for me. yes i've searched for hours on this also but couldn't find a single thing.

Thanks guys,
Matt

BTW, just got back from a 300 mile trip in my 5 speed converted vert running an s4 engine and she's running strong. hard work pays off and i've also getting above 20MPG and driving not too conservatively so i'm happy for that, i'm expecting to do a little better after i install my S'afc this weekend as well. life is good.

heh, i dont know about whitewalls.... if i wanted a design on the tire, i would find some goodyears with the white text (or yellow if thats your thang). if you dont get pics, you could always spraypaint a white circle on the tire. haha, but then you _gotta_ post pics cause i gotta see that !

eh, whitewalled or white LETTERED.

honestly i don't think white lettered would be that bad, as long as you have some muscle backing it up

I had a white FB that looked awesome with white letter tires. Could not find any replacements anywhere, though..

exactly. i'm not gonna go advertising my 205s on 15s or anything, but if i had some nice drag wheels and some thick rubber, i might settle on some goodyears. cant say i recall ever seeing it, so i dont know what it looks like. whitewalls belong on skinnies in my opinion, back when they ran those funny lookin wheels in the 50s. now lets all go watch Grease.

Off topic, but I'm curious to see if this idea will ever catch on and make it into car tires. I saw a motorcycle w/ an orange rear tire a few weeks ago and did a little searching. http://www.cycletires.com/ Not my thing, but if you're into that ...

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON"T KNOW
white walled tires are not entirely white, they have a simple white stripe going around the tire. the reason why i'm asking for pics is because i wanted to see what it looked like, just to see if it looked good because on certian cars it does look good.

are you talking about tires that have the name of your favorite college team on them? that's ghey. what's not ghey is a picture request.

So asking for a pic request of what it looks like and wondering what it looks like is wrong? and i'm not asking to be "cool" like how your attitude in every post of yours reflects on you, like you are the only cool person who exists, i asked because i was curious about how it looked and i like whitewalled tires.
I also was guessing that on a white fc it wouldn't look that bad, sorry for saying something not in your taste.

I am sick of everydamn person on this forum acting like they are god. if it's not in your tase i can understand that but just because i'm CURIOUS what it looks like don't waste the message board space with stupid replies like "ghey" and stuff like that. be constructive instead of wasting your time and mine.

learn how to grow up a little,
Matt

hah, yea, i cant take anyone's advice seriously if they call stuff "ghey." sorta negates everything they say. in my opinion, it would look silly. i dont recall the last time i saw whitewalls, though. i guess it is pretty old school. maybe on some 13" daytons, but i just dont find myself seeing any whitewalls these days. or daytons for that matter.

theres others that can do a bit of photoshop work. i made 1fastt2's car white and someone asked if he got a paint job. i've never tried adding white circles on a tire before, but post pics of the car and i'll try. off the top of my head, i dont think i've never made a circle in photoshop before. thats pathetic. what can i say, i have photoshop 5, the education version.

A mod should delete this thread. Whitewalls have no place on an FC, or any other semi-modern car.

should a mod also delete users who treat their word as the word of a god? i mean, i agree, but the designers built the car minus any cupholders. does this mean threads involving cupholders should also be deleted?

screw it. i dont even know if photoshop makes circles. i would think it would, but oh well. i can make a yellow car pink, a blue car green, a red car yellow, but i cant make a circle. i need a newer version of photoshop!

Shhhhhhhhh....... That was the most ignorant and useless post I've seen in a while. If the man wants to SEE what whitewalls look like, let hiim. He's not saying they're going on, just that he wants to see what they would look like. Way to be close-minded.

hey man, I saw some white walls on a white escalade when I went to get my pizza.
It was lowered, tinted windows, and had BIG chrome wheels. Good to see you back the forum man.
